I've just created a new Google Group called avblog; it will be the official mailing list
of AVBlog since now:

http://groups.google.com/group/avblog

I've also open an account for AVBlog on code.google.com, the home page of the
project is:

http://code.google.com/p/avblog/

In order to accesso to the SVN repository you can follow instruction here:

http://code.google.com/p/avblog/source

In the avblog15 subfolder you can find the latest update on AVBlog 1.5

Soon i'll add the avblog20 subfolder on wich i'll start to work on the
new multiblog version of AVblog.

Some fixes

Thanks to the first testers i fix some bugs:

- Using DB no post was added if a category was chosen
- Using DB no comment could be added
- In the Photoblog Plugin sometimes the upload failed (due to the zip.cfc not able to unlock correctly the zip file)
- In the Photoblog Plugin gallery delete did not work
- The new FCKEditor shipped with AVBlog 1.5 still did not fix the 'this.width' bug
- The graphicpush_blogicons iconsets was not present

The AVBlog 1.5 Beta now reflect these fixes.

AVBlog 1.5 Beta 2 released

You can download the new beta clicking here.

Please read carefully the docs you find in the installation.

I need TESTING, please help me downloading the beta and let me know of any problem you find; for a list of
the new features please refer to the docs or read previous posts of this blog.

This Blog now uses 1.5 version

Ok after some hard work i'm near to release the next beta version.

Big news in these beta as i've added:

Ajax support using Dojo; actually it's used on the admin section, on the delicious plugin and on the photoblog slideshow; Dojo use can be disabled on the configuration settings
New Delicious (you can see a demo here) and Flickr plugins
Update photoblog; now it's possible to edit the galleries, to view jpeg EXIF informations and to see the galleries usind Slide Show and presentation widget provided by Dojo
Support for both built-in captcha and LylaCaptcha
Anti spam feature for both comments and trackbacks based on a spam list created by the blogger
Importing wizards for WordPress and BlogCFC
SES url for posts, categories, days, months and cms pages with an option for rebuild all permalinks in the admin section
Wizard for DB to XML data conversion
Version checker for easy updates
New pods management
Google sitemap generator (example here)
New skins

I plan to release the new beta on the 26 of July; hope to have some people helping me in testing it out; after this beta i'll not add further improvements (or at least i do not plan to do it) and i'd like to release the 1.5 version of AVBlog by the end of August.

Work in progress

Next week i'll be on holiday so i hope to keep on working on the new beta of AVBlog.

I've adde some other features like:

support for LylaCaptcha and
dojo based ajax stuff for admin and delicious and phtoblog plugins (it's possible to activate the use of ajax in the administrator.
better antispam feature
enhanced phoblog plugin (with Flick Integration)

I've made many other minor improvements, what's i'll need is TESTING; if you're interested in helping me in testing the new features please write me.
