I just released the 1.5 Beta of AVBlog.
You can download it from here.
This is beta code, so be careful :)

Let me know for any problem or feature request; you can see the main new feature in the previous post. I still do not know if there will be a further beta or not, it depends on problems and bug discovered during this first try.

Andrea,
I'm experiencing a strange behavior. I've "unchecked" the "Email on Comments" features in the configuration area. Still however, my users receive two copies of the email notification message. This is obviously annoying to the members. I've been holding off really using the software until we can figure this out.
I haven't upgraded to 1.51 yet. Will that fix it?
Thanks!

Hi,
what versione do you have?
can you send me your controller.cfm file ? (it's in the root installation).
In the 1.5 version this problem is really away but i'd like to view your code because having two copies of the mail is a strange behavior; can also give me an url on wich i can test this thing?
Thanks in advance.
Bye

When using the SQL Server script to create the database on a SQL Server 2000, I get the following error:
Server: Msg 1709, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
Cannot use TEXTIMAGE_ON when a table has no text, ntext, or image columns.
In SQL Server 2000, it only supports the above for TEXTIMAGE_ON, where in SQL Server 2005, it also supports xml, varchar(max), nvarchar(max), varbinary(max),
The error is occurring when the 'spamlist' table is being created.
Once I removed "TEXTIMAGE_ON [PRIMARY]" from the table creation for 'spamlist' it worked fine.

Hi,
When I posted a test notice in Avblog which be setuped in my server.
I always got the error message below :
"Error casting an object of type java.lang.String to an incompatible type. This usually indicates a programming error in Java, although it could also mean you have tried to use a foreign object in a different way than it was designed. "
Could you give some tips?
Thanks
Newman
