- write the xml files for other languages (all xml language files are in the languages folder)
- write skins
- write to me for any enhanchements request; when the project will be well established and if someone will be interested i'll put avblog on SVN (but not at once, i'd like to avoid the errors made on cfxml_blog).

also...insert blog button causes an error. it works if save button in fckeditor is clicked

I just updated AVBlog to the 1.03 version wich fix the bug you mention about adding users.
About the other problem on error adding posts withous saving with FCKEditor i had no chance in reproducing it; please send me more details on the matter.
